for valance I used the "rustoleum" bed liner spray... its held up for 6 months so far, including our wonderful nothern NY winter and been through mud all last deer season it held up.... plus the texture is a lot smoother than herculiner.. just my .02

thx walnuts, i noticed ur valance was nice and blacked out.
i'll give it a shot when it we start to get more consistent warm weather.

i used krylon flat black for my valence. does ok but am going to redo it with the undercoat spray from walmart.

the undercoat stuff "sucks" i did my entire frame and it didn't last.. use the bedliner works awesome!! just bought 2 more cans to do my roof racks

it seems to work on the interior but then again, doesnt see as much trauma. i might have to check out your idea.

i sure do! and i am movin to iowa next year when i get out of the military...right back to sub zero temps!!!!!! gonna be hard to get used to after these years in san diego!

well once i get there walnut, i plan on starting hunting camp like i used to do in michigan. when i do, you are more than welcome to attend. i got a buddy who owns a farm that is gonna let me hunt his land.
