This is the fob for my 07. As you can see there is a glass release button. I'd check your owners manual for my info on your particular year

On the remote start 2017 Limited, there isn't a button to pop the rear glass you have to push the button on the liftgate under the "N".
True but with motorized liftgate, I hit that button and open the back.Still nice to have the fob, I have that button underneath on the back too but if I’m carrying something awkwardly it’s easier to hit the fob

That's what happened with my 2003 Expedition. The original fob could unlatch the rear window but the Ford remote start fob can not do that. That became important when the liftgate window button on the liftgate stopped working. I had to put one of the original stock (not remote start) fobs in the glove box in case I ever need to do that. Its now the ONLY way I can unlatch that window. On the remote start 2017 Limited, there isn't a button to pop the rear glass you have to push the button on the liftgate under the "N".
I actually never use it. I have an aftermarket remote start/locks/alarm and trunk release so its been sitting in the cup holder of my work truck for like 2 yearsThis is the fob for my 07.
