Finally! A picture of a 4th gen towing something! Not too much sag, either. Do you know what your tongue weight is? (Watch this space for pics of a certain ruby red Expedition towing something this weekend...)
I measured it once when loaded (but tanks empty) and it was about 860 lbs. I am using 900 lbs as the estimate for planning. The trailer brochure says it is 500 lbs but that's dry (unloaded).

Fantastic! I was expecting more sag with a 900lb tongue weight. My trailer also has a 500lb dry tongue weight and I also am thinking I'm going to be awfully close to my Expedition's 900lb max tongue weight...

It still sags a bit - the front fenders are higher than the rear, even with the weight distribution bars on. The bars are rated for 500 lbs, since they were sized for the dealer's "optimistic" tongue weight, so I'm thinking of getting heavier bars to even it out a bit. I'll probably choke up on the chains a link for now.

I really do like it. I'm coming from a Merc GL550. Not as quick, but rides much nicer than the GL. Very happy.

It’s the only car I’ve ever owned that I really look forward to driving. Which sounds weird when you’re not talking about a 911 or something low and fast, but I really do feel that way. Enjoy it!

Gasp* That is BLASPHEMOUS!! Dont let car and driver see that!

I love this group... You guys actually have a sense of humor. MB boards are way too serious! I couldn't agree more about driving this suv. It is so comfortable and has very nice ride comfort.

Agreed! Sunday morning early as the sun was coming up I just decided to go out on a little 40 mile loop. Dropped the trash at the SRC, got a coffee, and just cruised with windows down and the sunroom open, tunes cranked up. It was just enjoyable! And I have this in the garage!

When I bought my first Suburban in 1994 the Sale Brochure had a full size photo of the truck covering two pages with a perhaps now politically incorrect statement of "As a Matter of Fact I do Own the Road" (wish I saved that)

If I want to go on a long road trip nothing beats a full size SUV, either a GM XL or Ford/Navi Max. Came out of GM's after 24 years and love my 2018 Expy Max

So why does Ford no longer offer load leveling rear suspension on these puppies??
