50" Curved LED Light Bar Installation

Has anybody thought about using the front most roof rack crossbar to mount a LED Light Bar on? Can one get enough down angle to be useful before the beam just starts bouncing off the forward part of the roof?

I am seriously thinking roof or behind grill because both the State and Counties have gone crazy with Lidar down here so the Push Bar or Brush Guard I was thinking of buying is out as I will not give them any extra shiny targets to clock me with Lidar!

I've seen other SUVs where they utilized the forward most OEM roof rack crossbar and it looked like total shit aesthetically.
Definitely a NO GO for me on that one.

Behind the grille gets 80% light through the wide grille slats.

I had considered trying to modify the bottom grille so as to accept a smaller light bar without the grille holes blocking it. Want to find one on a junker to experiment with before going to town on mine though. I suppose with some skill crafting things the same could be done in the main grille.
