I recently got a 2010 Expedition with 140.000 miles. I am debating a 2,5 inch leveling kit. My last truck was a 2009 Explorer and I had to remove the leveling kits because of the issues I was having. I am looking for some opinions? Has anyone had any issues? I figured I would replace the struts at the same time. Anything else I should consider? Are there any common issues with the Expedition and a leveling kit? Thanks, Eric

I have my 2007 3 1/2 front set a 2 and 1/2 rear lift blocks I've had no issues with it so far. The only thing that I have noticed at all is a little bit of Road wandering should I have my suspect that that's more to do with the 34 1/2 inch tires I have on it9f29d43d7dc81ded9d902da638d68967.jpg

In my opinion ( not professional ). The max you can lift a expedition is 3". After that you start to have issues with the cv axles. 2 1/2" Should work really good with no issues. I just installed a 2" lift on my 07 expedition. The alignment shop was able to get all back in spec with no additional hardware. I have about 3000 miles on the lift and it drives perfect.
Most end up using a 3/2 lift. I would recomend parking on a smooth level surface. then measure from the ground to the fender lip. It will help figure out exactly what you need. My truck sat level stock. I went with 2" from and rear. It worked out perfect for me.

Duuude the fire department wants its LEDs back

3/2 or 2ish/1ish works

Don't put fronts only unless seeking a nose-up feel.... for some reason, 1" - 1.5" fronts only isn't a thing as far as I can tell

Looks completely badass to me, loving the all blacked out too.

Thinking this is going to make me paint the lower trim black on mine.

Really looks good. :happy107::rockit:

I just had the lights installed. But its not done yet. Its damn cold here now. Expecting -50 wind chills Wednesday. I will try to get some more pics.

I was thinking maybe a min lift just on the front to level it off. I don't want to the front to end up higher then the back.

There is a guy on here w/ pics of his expy on an ebay 3"/2" leveling kit that cost like $150 and it looks awesome. I think he even has 35" tires on it though they may be 34", either way his truck looks beast.

I have the Traxda kit which is supposed to be 2.75"/2.25" but I havent installed it yet. Got that one because they sold me on their quality and I liked the proportion of front to rear lift theirs has.

But some of their docs in the box say 3"/2" so who knows. The ebay kit that guy got looked like really good quality and his truck looks awesome and it was cheap so I would consider that myself.

I'm going to run 33" tires probably but what I originally wanted was 35x12.5's now I'm scared they wont fit with my power running boards... Hopefully I'll get to test trial fit some tires soon and see.

Stupid question but do all the expys have a rake to them? Sometimes I think mine does and other times it looks level. Mine does not have the towing package on it but have also been debating a 2" level in the front. Thoughts are more than welcome.
