This showed up on my dashboard today. I was 3 minutes from the dealer and stopped in. They did a software update. This is a '18 Limited with 4X4 and tow package. Has anybody else seen this?

That fuel pump HATES you for running it that low on fuel.

I run most of my Fords to 0 miles to empty and have not had a fuel pump go yet! GM pumps are shit and will go even if you keep gas in them.
I will say the pumps got weaker in 98 and up Town Cars. Before that they were bulletproof.

Best of luck on that, but in theory its putting extra stress on the pump. I'm glad yours have taken that....

I'm certain it is, as it certainly helps to cool the pump when it is fully submerged in cool gasoline in a nice dark gas tank.
There's just those two kinds of people. One that starts getting nervous when the gas hand gets below half tank and freaks out when it gets to 1/4. In the other that's gets down to 25 miles to empty and has a 32 MI distance to go and says, I'm sure it'll make it.
I have literally coasted into a gas station at least three times that I can remember, probably more times, where the car had already stalled from lack of fuel and I had lost power steering but was able to turn into the gas station and roll up to a gas pump without having to push it or trying to restart it.
I always say procrastination is an art form but some of us really take it to the extreme.

OP contact your dealer for troubleshooting. I'm not sure I'd even drive it there with that warning. Until I looked up the meaning, driving further could damage your suv.

How quickly this thread went in the wrong direction..wow. With 38 miles to go that's nearly 2 gallons left and we all know that a highly inaccurate miles to go warning. I've taken vehicles a few miles below 0 miles to go and still had a gallon or 2 left in the tank. Not the issue causing the warning.

Did find this:

"This means you have a issue between the MCU module and a components of the suspension the first thing you will need to have done is have the trouble codes checked with a capable scan tool to see which component in the suspension has failed more then likely you have a failed sensor causing the issue , since its a new vehicle i suggest binging it inn for repair . The vehicle can still be driven like this but have it looked at sooner then later. i HOPE THIS HELPS PLEASE DONT FORGET TO PROVIDE FEEDBACK FOR THE HELP PROVIDED THANK YOU"
