You’re brave tinting the front especially since VA state law says no tint on front glass

VA State Police don't play either. Only state I've been pulled out of the car at GUN point for speeding (2004)! VB is nutz in it's self. Even w/ a doctor's letter I wouldn't risk playing pass the bullet w/ the PD in VA. I've got a few stories about VA....

I had DE license plates for the 4 years I lived in VA (stationed at MCB Quantico | Marines). Seemed like the VA police would pull over out of state over VA plates. OC MD is the only other place worse (pulled over 14 times in one day during the day there in a Camaro).

The correct answer is to put 15% or 20% over all factory tinted side glass. 5% goes on the visor, rear glass, and two front side windows. You are welcome. Anything less and you are driving around in a sunroom and with zero privacy.....and folks coming up behind you still illuminate the inside of your vehicle. I have been using Llumar for years.

Sanman can you share a few photos of what the visor looks like from inside and outside the truck when tinted like this?

Tracking all the others. Would like to see photos to get an idea if I’d like it.

Thanks.

Some states have a limit on how far down the visor strip can go. Also a good tint guy will have the primary driver sit in the vehicle and make sure they don’t put the dividing line in your natural line of sight.

There’s the AS1 line on the windshield: some states have a limit not related to this, others use that line as the limit.

Utah uses this line and it’s not very far down on the Expy. I had them take it from the line to the camera and mirror holder. Didn’t add much. I had a RAM truck that the line was way down the windshield and it actually made it useful.

Sure. Its honestly the best. With visor and side windows done i dont need sunglasses. The interior is much more comfortable. I have had more than a dozen vehicles tinted just like this. Visor radius to 3" below AS1 on either end. Im 6'2" and sit like a normal person....i see under it with more than enough clearance. But it certainly blocks most all the nasty sun light.
