No, nearly impossible to escape. Seems we were trying to push that crap out of the country, but alas, the effort will end soon.

I really don't like their bearings, but sometimes you don't have much of a choice. Wish the suppliers would advertise the Country of Origin on their Web sites, so I didn't have to guess.

I changed the plugs in my 07, researched all the horror stories first and got a quote from the dealer who wanted almost $800 to do if which would go up if something broke. I decided to attempt the job myself and it actually didn't go too bad. I ran some Marvel Mystery Oil through a tank of gas and squirted some PB Blaster down first and let it soak a few hours. The only one that gave me grief was #3 on the passenger side, I couldn't get the socket over it or the boot back over it. I did some research and used a piece of 3/4" round brass that I cut some teeth into and ran it around the plug then hit it again with air and all of a sudden the socket fit and all went smoothly afterwards. She runs like new now, I'll monitor fuel mileage for a bit also to see if there's any improvement. I also took the molded running boards off, they're useful clearly but I don't like the look. I'll probably put some tube style black ones on at a later date.07 Expy Max.jpg

EDIT 2004 XLT 4x4 SSV (Fire Dept.)

AAA towed it to my guy, who replaced the lost keys. they had to do a complete rekey since they had no master to work from. They also checked the fluid squirter for the WW, since apparently I don't know how to work it. they're dropping it back off shortly.
once i get it back, I'm taking it to get steaks for my new grill.

before that, I replaced the wheels and tires, upgrading 2" taller. Also, I finally got my Umbrella Corporation parking sticker and company emblem.
Finally, I got a tuner (SCT Livewire TS+) of limited usage for which I overpaid and have received pitiful company support.

Last two days drove 80-85mph for 2-3 hrs straight.

She has 214,***.

Not even a hiccup.

Mine is sitting at 224k and still going.
I hit 80 every now and again (in ATL). No worries.
Did just replace all four corner’s brakes.
