I'm picking up a new 2021 MAX FX4 soon. I intend to be on the beach with this every so often, but also plenty of normal city/highway combo driving. Planning on doing the readylift 3/2 and bigger tires (I look the lifted look, plus it'll help on the beach).

I think I'm settled on the Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires. They come in 3 sizes that are in my target overall diameter range:

LT285/75R17 - 33.9"
LT295/70R18 - 34.3"
LT305/65R18 - 33.6"

Anyone running anything similar? Pros/cons with the above size options, given my use?

Hey Bob - did you ever hear back from anyone? Even if you didn't, did you make a decision and if so, what did you go with? I am looking into a tire upgrade and want Wildpeaks.

So...I did the Expedition Bilstein 5100s on all four wheels at max setting (1.6" lift), so that I could run Toyo Open Country AT3s in 285/75R17 (33.83" diameter) on Method 705 wheels (17" with 25mm offset).

But I still don't have those on the truck, so I only *think* it'll work. Have not actually tested that combo yet. Stuff is back-ordered with no timeframe given, so for now I put Falken Wildpeak 275/70R18s on the stock FX4 wheels, which seem good, but haven't been off-road with them yet.

Thanks Bob! Do you by chance have a photo with the wildpeaks on the stock wheels?

Here you go. Took the truck to the beach. Falkens are at 17psi in these pics. So far so good on the beach.

From what I have found, we can do up to a 33.6 tire with out a lift with no rubbing. I’ll be doing a LT295/50r22 AT not sure on the brand yet but probably TKO2’s or Wildpeaks, I had the wildpeaks on my F150 and loved them.
