Has anyone ever replace this piece before? If so, please let me know how you did it. Trying to replace just this one side but not sure how it comes off. Thank you in advance!

the radio bezel? it just pops off... one of the easiest to work on

No, I was referring to the plastic piece next to the radio bezel.
just pop the bezel off, you will see some 7mm screws, i think you pull the cluster trim too IIRC .... still pretty straight forward, just get in and do it. Ford is one of the easiest makes to take apart. (my opinion as a former 12v installer)

It's part of the overall dash and isn't a small thing to remove.
