I do not think all of the pictures reflect all of the options. Interior colors being one. I am specing out an XLT 202A, I have the black onyx interior seat color selected but in the picture it shows the front upper door columns and ceiling color is still sandstone. I sure hope that's not the case!! I also just looked and do NOT see fog lights as even being an option the XLT. That's rediculous!
That’s what I thought on the fog lights too! Even if they’re halogens, at least some fog lights stock on an XLT would have been nice! I think the ceilings are all going to be that “sandstone” color. It’s the same way in my 2019 f150 with black cloth seats.

So I have been on the phone with the parts guy at my dealership. He says that more than likely the wiring and wiring harnesses will NOT be installed. He looked up the fog light part and it can be ordered. However he things its going to be pretty expensive to add them in. Also he thinks the headliner and door trim will be sandstone even though you order the black onyx seats. I really hope he is wrong because I personally think that's going to look horrible. Anyone else have any thoughts about the interior colors?

Well the fog light situation is a little disheartening to say the least. The sandstone ceilings don’t really bother me honestly. It’s the same color combo in my 2019 f150 STX and I think looks good but it comes down to preference though.

I was hoping for a light gray myself as I personally think that would match the black seats better than sandstone does but everyone has different tastes. The wife seems to think a sandstone color would be fine with the darker seats. So that works for me I guess LOL.

I seemed to have found an error on the B&P. We ordered a limited with the stealth perf package plus CCD. On the B&P under CCD it claims CCD is already included in the stealth and stealth perf packages. Oddly despite this note in the B&P, it does allow you to add the option. I reached out to my dealer who confirmed that neither the stealth or stealth perf packages come with CCD and you must add it separately. Odd.

the website is looking so much better now over the last 24 hours. Looks now more like one would expect compared to just 12 hours ago. I am getting a sandstone interior and was stoked by the appearance of the dash with a 12 inch screen when I built it on the configurator. Now, if they would only start scheduling vehicles with rear entertainment :hmm:

We ordered a limited Max a few weeks back. Amoung other things we wanted the power running boards, and ordered equipment group 301a. Am I reading the B+P right that we wouldn't have power running boards without going up to 302a?

Yeah, I think they mean "available" instead of "included"... I noticed the same thing.

The order guide says powered running boards come in the 302a package. So the B+P appears to be correct on this one.

Yes, I hate that it doesn't come with fog lights, but I guess that is something that can always be added after market. As for the ceiling color, I was hoping and assuming, which we ALL know what assuming gets you, that the ceiling and trim color would change to match the seat color. In my old Expedition it was black on black interior and a buddy has a 2018 XLT the same way. Just not a fan of the sandstone color.

I've got a 2010 Explorer with the black leather interior and the sandstone trim and roof. You barely notice it
New 2022 will most likely be the same configuration, won't bother me at all.

For me I personally like the all black. However its also the fact that it just changed this year. Prior years when you change seat color it changed all colors. Guess its better knowing now as opposed to when it comes in.......that would have been a huge shock!

The B&P offers "Suspension Load Preview" as an option for the Limited. I'm assuming this is CCD? If so, I wonder why they don't just call it that.

I'm getting nervous about what the Timberline interior really looks like. I've seen videos where it looks grey with some moss undertones and I've seen videos where it looked green green. The B+P interior pictures of this trim interior look completely different than all the videos but the lighting is terrible. Are they trying to hide how green it is? I've already informed my dealer that I may not take delivery of the vehicle(if it ever gets built) depending on the interior color. If it were black or grey, I'd be really excited about this trim.

Obviously can't speak to the Expedition, but if it's the same as the Explorer Timberline, it should be really nice. I have seen that one in person.

I added the stealth appearance, heavy tow and big screen Sync. My build sheet shows the CCD IS INCLUDED.

Does anyone know if you get or are able to order the Active motion/heated/cooled seats with the timberline trim? Or is that only offered in the King Ranch and Platinum trim levels?

Per the order guide, you can get "Seats, Front Row – Heated and Ventilated" in the Timberline 501A high package. The active motion appears to only be on the Platinum and is standard - "Front Row – Multicontour with Active Motion®"

Interesting. I went back to my dealer to question this item. They insist this is an error in the B&P and CCD is not included and must be added (+$$) even with the stealth performance. As of this moment my build sheet from the dealer shows that I am paying the extra money for CCD

Thank you. I usually do not get good information from the salespeople.

If that is the case, we will probably go with the Platinum Max 4x4 (8 passenger)...We are planning to order both a 2023 F350 Tremor in Platinum and an Expedition at the same time...but We will also be looking at the Sequoia (or LX600).
