I don't think they make a 2" body lift? Will just run a 3", maybe crank your t bars a bit more to make a total of 6" lift.

i cant crank the t bars any more. my drive is at max. i busted my knuckle on something cause i was turning the bolt and it stoped and my hand didnt and smack! haha o well 2" is max. then i think im going to make my own spacers. they look cool. i gotta see though. and then i think there is a 2" body lift. if not then ill do 3". im going to fit 315 75 with stock rims under her. going to be nice!

If you look at the Performance Accessories installation guide, from their web site, the only difference between the 2" and the 3" kit is that the front valence (under the bumper) needs to have notches cut out for the tow hooks when using the 3" kit. Also the rear bumper stays where it is on the 2" kit but is remounted higher with the 3" kit. So I assume that there is a 2" gap at the top of the rear bumper with the 2" kit. With the 3" kit you get about 4" between the bumper and the tow bar. (I didn't measure, but my 4" exhaust tips poke out from that gap)
When doing the body lift it is the perfect time to toss out the clutch fan and pick up an electrical one. You need to remount the fan shroud anyway, it's just as easy to sh - can it.
Also, spring for the gap fillers.

so your saying to get the 3" kit. and i was going to get a PA kit. everyone recommends them. so ill do that. and i have the e fans and i got the control module for them too. gonna do that when i get home. my 2 classes are at night so plenty of time. so get the 3" body lift and the bumpers should move with them too? i have plans to remove the front and rear bumpers anyways. but thats later. and i dont want that gapped look. i figured since i want 35s i can do it with out the body lift but itll rubb. so i need to get it. besides. my truck looks tiny compared to nvys and i bet mine looks a like a hot wheel compared to walnuts. haha

if your gonna spend the HOURS doing a body lift with the intentions of making it bigger... go with the 3" cuz if you do 2" you might kick your self in the @$$ for another inch....

haha wow walnuts! okay just like the spacers. so ill do 3" later down the line. just getting ideas. need to get the pesos in first! so 3 inch spacer and 3 inch body lift. spacer first... e fans install. got to get the zip ties. orielys was out. tomorrow hopefully. then power wire for my amp and then spacers. then i cant do body lift cause itll look funny on stock tires. then edge cts. body lift/tires. and finish my lights some where in there. maybe somewhere i get my efans and power wire. and window regulator and this and that! ****!!!! money money money money money!!!! haha got to make her mine though. and if i ever sell her im taking most of what i put into her into what ever i get. sound system lights lift if i get a new expo. programmer if they pay me for that. if not ill sell separately. what ever. haha
please don't do a body lift. they look downright stupid. especially first gen. expeditions. don't make the excuse either of, "oh, but wait, it's for tire clearance." do a suspension lift if you're going to take that much time to lift it.

body lifts are awesome!!!! plus a lot of people cant afford a suspension lift so a couple hundred bucks on a BL and spacers to run 35s is the way to go... hell i got 11" and only running 37s and i got a couple grand into my expy... so couple hundred for 35s or a couple grand for 37-40s???

i dont like body lifts either but they actually are for tire clearance. i dont have the money for a 4" lift or 6" fabtech lift like some one on here. cough cough! and i dont like the look of 33s. and 35s look great. and theyll fit with the spacers i get but ill rub a lot so body lift is the next thing. then ill do suspension when i get money and remove the body lift. that is if i do long travel.

I have one of those stupid looking first gens with a body lift. But my excuse is "Oh, it's for tire clearance" Oops wait, now I am doing exactly what you said I wasn't supposed too. Doh!!! And everyone that sees it says it looks "awesome'. That must be slang for 'stupid'.
