Hi everyone,

Is it possible to make it so this reminder about the seatbelt stops coming up or making it go away quicker without having to press the “ok” button on the steering wheel EVERYTIME I start the car? I’ve looked thru the settings and I’ve tried everything I could find online but nothing makes it go away. That reminder should disappear after I put it in drive and start moving but it stays up for an unecessarily long time if you don’t press ok. I don’t want to have to press it everytime i start the car like I did on my previous vehicle having to disable the auto start/stop each time it was started. I know other people don’t like it either but it’s a major pet peeve of mine when something stupid like this can’t be changed.

Thanks

I’m curious - does this warning appear although the seatbelts are fastened after engine start, but prior to shifting the transmission into gear?

How does that work? I buckle my belt before I even start the car and I still get the display for 60 seconds.
It won't get rid of the display, it allows you to not hear the chime, etc. if you don't want to wear your seatbelt.

How do you disable the chime? I cant find that option.
It’s in the manual, under seatbelt section.
Basically sit in the seat you want to disable, put the vehicle “on” not running. Then buckle and unbuckle 4 time. Ending unbuckled. Seatbelt Light will flash. Make sure doors closed.
Manual outlines the process better.

+1 I always wear my seat belt - but when I get home and check the mailbox at the end of my driveway - I dont put my seat belt on - the chime was driving me crazy - I went through the procedure and it worked.

Sorry to reignite a thread. Was there a forscan option to disable the graphic on the display? I am struggling to find it and would love to make that graphic go away. Maybe my search skills are just that bad…

No way to disable the graphic. It auto dismisses after belts are buckled and you start moving above 5mph or 60 seconds. Whichever is first.

My 2022 does not operate in a 'whichever is first' mode - that graphic stays up for 60 seconds every time unless I hit the OK button.

I'll re-check mine later, the way the manual is worded isn't exactly clear. it also mixes the lamp and warning display graphic.
