Here's the deal. Really like it, wife loves it, and that's a good thing. Only issue is the lack of an owners manual. This has a 15" screen that has a "owners manual" in it. So to learn how to control anything you have to be stopped to access said manual. This is a giant pia! Was driving through Daytona with a ton of bikes around and that rich exhaust was getting into the cabin. Tried to actuate the "recirculating air" and had to find a parking place or somewhere to pull over and stop to access the manual get to that option. No easy task in the middle of Bike Week! This scenario continued as we attempted to learn about this new toy.
I usually read a owners manual cover to cover so I at least have a clue. The passenger can yank out the printed manual at anytime when my memory fails and is able find the needed info. Not with this! This sucks!!
Anybody have an idea where I can find an owners manual that pertains to a 2024 Limited Stealth with a 15.5" inch screen? My dealer who is real good didn't have answer. I don't really want to spend hours sitting in it reading in the driveway. All I want is a hard copy that will fit in the console.
The bigger engine makes a big difference! Size really does matter! lol

You can download the manual from Ford here. It used to be in the FordPass app as well but I didn't see it with a quick look.

Thank you so much! I blew by a similar site late last night that showed the 12 inch screen, not the 15.5 and not the Ford site . Anyway, now to print some of it, of course my wife has run us out of paper. Going to have to go to the store. Thanks again!

I got rid of my Expedition and bought a new 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe Premier 4WD. It did not come with a printed owner’s manual - but rather a short, printed user guide. In it, it repeatedly says to refer to the owner’s manual.

I was able to buy a printed owner’s manual from GM’s publications’ company for $50 + shipping + tax.

I also prefer a printed manual that I can read wherever I choose.

I despise GM & Ford for eliminating a printed manual for the purchasers of their expensive products that have many complicated controls and features (and some that are not intuitive).

Good luck.

I've been there with the big cube engines back in the day. 427 Vette's and Camaro's and a 1/4 mile were my therapy. Now, waay to old for that, now it's kinda stab and steer. lol. I'm just amazed at how much HP they can drag out of these boosted engines without breaking them.
As for a happy wife, she has never busted my chops about what we buy. Best example of that: We were out looking at Vettes went into a dealership in RI that had 10 in various years. I found a nice white, convert automatic that was in our price range. Wasn't happy about the automatic but it was nice. Asked her what she thought. She looked at me and asked which one of these is the fastest, I looked around and said that red Z06 over there. She walked over to it turns and says "It's beautiful, why don't we buy it,'cause in 6 months your going to buy it anyway". We did. My wife is real good behind the wheel, amazingly good with a manual transmission, actually she can drive about anything. She did say regarding the Z06 your going to be working a bunch of overtime to replace the money. She has always handled the money. Thats the story with her.

I totally agree. They suck with the lack of manuals. They are going to be over 100K shortly and can't put a book in the glove compartment to explain how things work is unfuckingbeliveable !

Get an inexpensive, but readable tablet. Load the PDF owners manual onto the tablet. Keep tablet in the glove box or center console.

There's also a smaller quick reference guide available as PDF. It may provide what you need without killing a lot of trees.

But, I'm not impressed with your dealer. They should have taken the time to show you basic stuff like connecting your phone, how the locks work, and how to use the HVAC.

It sucks, but manufacturers know that they're just ******* money away by printing manuals because most people don't read them. Consumer electronics devices have been shipping without manuals for more than a decade.

Thought about the tablet but I doubt it would survive the heat here. A kindle will shut down at the beach. I'll get it worked out eventually.

Not quite the case. I thought the same thing. Where is the effing manual in this car? Turns out that printed manuals are still available from Ford, but at an extra $$$ cost!

My turn. According to Ford if one wants a hard copy they have to order it from Helm who is not printing them at the present time.

Hi FastCar:

Yes, it is quite aggravating that these $80K cars don't come with "Printed Owner's Manuals" from Ford, isn't it?

My daughter bought a new 2024 Expedition Limited last July and it didn't have a "Printed Owner's Manual" with it either. She was most aggravated. I went onto eBay and there's a seller 'Quikby Garage' who sells reprints for $57 + tax & Free Shipping. He seems to be an honest guy who packs these books extremely well and ships out quickly. I bought one from him for my daughter and it came within one week and was in perfect, unused condition. I also went onto eBay to seller 'karate2626' and bought a factory Ford nylon case (I think it was from a '22, F150) for $25 (inc. shipping & tax) to protect it in the glove box, the same case as Ford used to include with the book. The case fit the book perfectly and looked like it was brand new, although sold as used. If anyone may be interested in either books or cases, just go online to eBay.com and buy from there. You can use credit cards or PayPal now on eBay.

The reason for my daughter wanting a printed Owner's Manual was that she was concerned that, even though the Owners Manual was in the cars computer, if the cars battery went dead/low or the touch screen didn't work properly somehow, how was she supposed to access her digital Owners Manual to correct or change anything???? She was very pleased and happy to have a PRINTED one w/ case in her glove box now! She's used it 5-6 times in the past few months.

One week ago, my wife and I bought a new 2024 Expedition Limited MAX but, again NO "Printed Owners Manual". I went back to eBay and bought a second "Printed Owner's Manual" from 'Quikby Garage' and another Ford black nylon case for it from 'karate2626'. The manual has already arrived here but not the case yet.

My older daughter in PA, bought a new loaded 2023 Ford Explorer in March of last year and it DID come with a "Printed Owner's Manual" but NO Nylon Case. I bought another used Ford case from a different seller on eBay and had it shipped directly to her. Her book fit perfectly in the case, as well.

NOTE: When looking on eBay for this 2024 Expedition Owners Manual, make sure you are looking at a true OWNERS MANUAL. There are many, many of the "Supplemental Owners Manuals" (for much cheaper) which actually still come with these Expy cars from Ford, in the glovebox, as one did come in our 2024 Expy. I think the 'only' COMPLETE 2024 Owner's Manuals are from this 'Quikby Garage' or from 'Helm Books' (which are a little more expensive but they rarely have them 'In Stock').

I am hoping this info is of help to some of you Expedition folks here, Lance

Or download the pdf go to a print store and get the manual printed yourself.
Thought about that but it would probably require a large 3 ring loose leaf binder. That won't fit anywhere. I'll get it figured out eventually.

I used to get (service) manuals printed. They can magnify or shrink things no problem.

Thanks for the info. That sounds like the way to go. Especially since it will fit in the glovebox.

When we bought our '011 back in '22, which had the original Owners Manual & a soft case too, we actually passed on a similar 012 because it did not have an owners manual, but the sales manager came over & said well, no problem, we'll just order one for you straight from Ford.....FOR $129.99 plus shipping !!!!!!!!!

I told him to K.M.A. with that nonsense !

Yep! That's what I thought too. Hate to have to spend $80 more for book & case after $80K for the Expy, but I guess it's just a minuscule amount (in the big scheme of things) for the peace of mind that having the book gives us, Lance

You know BigOleFordFan, we just sold our 2012 Expedition EL, that we bought new, and it DID come with a "Printed Owners Manual" and soft Black Nylon case from Ford. I surely don't understand those Ford salesmen trying to gouge you for $150 when they could just eat that money, to make a sale. Don't know their thinking?? Best of luck, Lance

the owners manual for my 2019 is insanely long. Like nearly 600 pages. My 2019 did come with an actual book in a black nylon case with a velcro flap, along with the service guide.
