98 4.6L EB Expy exhaust question...?

I am wanting to upgrade the sound of my 98 4.6L EB Expy exhaust... does anyone know the stock size pipe they used on the exhaust system? I can't seem to find my tape measure to figure it out on my own... and nowhere online seems to have specs for this exhaust systems.

stock system size is 2.5 inch, typical aftermarket size is 3 inches.
