So I checked with Ford Parts .com and they show thye same O2 for 4.6 and 5.4
but when I go to the Bosh site it shows different ones . 15717 Downstream and 15664 Upstream for the 5.4. and for the 4.6 15717 Downstream and 15716 upstream. Has anyone got the right part # for both the o2's
2002 5.4 Expy ?

on the orielly's site i found for Bosch
13117 direct fit upstream
15717 direct fit downstream or
15718 alternate fit (customer choice)
im assuming the only difference is a longer harness these are listed under 2002 Expy 5.4

Found out today from Bosch Tech guy that the 15664 is different from the 15716. not just in length but heat range also. So I order 4 new O2's from Summit, the tech guy said at 100,000 you should change them out. He also said a 13117 would work but it has a long cable. Just tought I'd let you guys know.

but, should you change them if you are not having any check engine lights or engine runs good?

What I've heard from the Bosch guy and others is that the computer will adjust as they get older so they don't throw a code but your not getting the best out of them. so if there not throwing codes then you don't have to change them but after a 100,000 it might help keep the Expy running tip top if you did.

I have a hard time changing a part that is not causing a check engine light. On the other hand I am getting terrible gas mileage (maybe 10 mpg's around town).
