Thanks for the feedback. I was planning to drop just the bumper off with a body shop so I would still have use of the Expy while it gets painted. But maybe leaving it on and finding other transportation makes more sense.
I have searched the forum but have not been able to find any threads on the rear bumper cover removal. Can anyone point me to where I might find those instructions. I am looking for details on removing the entire rear bumper to have it repainted. Thanks in advance.
That is a good idea. I may have to try that. I have not had a chance to take it in but I'd still like to see if it will be covered under warranty. I'll provide an update when I do. It is sad that it has happened so quickly.
Has anyone else see this happening? this is a 2019 Expy. It seems the windshield cowl is warping upward away from the windshield just on the passenger side. It is open enough to where I get a lot of leaves underneath becasue it is not flush with the windshield. The Expy is still in warranty so...
I trimmed mine instead of removing it completely. I used a angular grinder with a cut off blade and it cut very easily. I left just a little of the air dam itself.
I also have a 2019 platinum with CCD and transitioned to 20" wheels, 3/2 readylift kit and 33" tires. No issues at all. I also like a little more sidewall.
Lou - Sorry I missed this post. the wheels are 20x9.5 and the tires are 33x12.5x20. I am using the readylift 3/2 lift. No problems at all with the set up.
My foot sensor works only when I am drying the Expy after a wash and I am drying under the bumper - then the tailgate whacks me in the forehead.........
