Has anyone else see this happening? this is a 2019 Expy. It seems the windshield cowl is warping upward away from the windshield just on the passenger side. It is open enough to where I get a lot of leaves underneath becasue it is not flush with the windshield. The Expy is still in warranty so I'll probably take it in but just wondered if anyone else was having this problem?

Mine is definitely starting to do it as well. Seems like a lot of crappy abs plastic, I had to have my entire dash replaced due to a couple pieces warping. Talk about nuts, 1.5 days labor and a $2k dash cover, at just 8k miles.

My 2018 wasn’t that bad but was doing it also. I priced out the parts and I think it was over $100 for the plastics so I just used an industrial double stick black tape to hold it to the windshield glass.

That is a good idea. I may have to try that. I have not had a chance to take it in but I'd still like to see if it will be covered under warranty. I'll provide an update when I do. It is sad that it has happened so quickly.

If it sits out in the sun most of it's life try some 303 sun guard spray on it. I'm not sure there's any UV protectant in any of the exterior plastics they're using today. Eventually ( when all the warrantees are gone...), you'll see aftermarket replacement pieces that are probably better than the factory stuff.

Yep, my 21 is doing that. Clearly this is an issue with all vehicles. I'll probably have it replaced under warranty as some point but I'm sure it will just keep happening.

I have the same issue. Simple fix. Fold the corner of the cowl underneath the corner of the window. I’ll take a picture when I get my expedition back from the dealer.

Soto follow up on this. Sorry for the delay. I did get it replaced under warranty and there was no push back from the dealer. However after another 6 months it is doing the same thing again. It is a garage kept expy and is not outdoors much at all. I am going to check again with ford and see if it will be replaced again. Seems like really crappy materials - I have never had any other car have a repeating issue like this.
