I should have added ... the ticking noise pre-dated me messing with anything and the cel as well ... noticed the noise a few months ago, figured it is just loud injectors- Black14EXT

Thanks for your ideas. You know, I was thinking of swapping a coil to see if the problem moved, but it hasn’t ‘coded’ again ... so odd that it still runs so poorly but hasn’t thrown any more codes.- Black14EXT

wife’s truck, 2014 el limited with 5.4, fresh oil, 75k miles. Never any issues then I get in and notice a check engine light. Can I quicken the steering ratio
It takes a full turn or more to go around a corner. I've had several other trucks, none with steering as slow as this thing. You gotta crank like a madman to park it lol ... wondering if there are other racks with faster ratios used in the different trims of expeditions and F150s. Haven't come...- Black14EXT

Can I quicken the steering ratio
Hi all, I own a 2014 expedition EL. Been very good to us so far, not a problem with it. My only complaint is that the steering ratio is the absolute worst ... to the point where I hate driving the truck because of it. Is there a replacement rack available anywhere with a quicker ratio?
