Has anyone had a problem installing a remanufactured right side rear cv axle? The old one came out fairly easy but the reman won't go in all the way it sticks out of the differential about an inch. I've tried ramming it in. I pulled it back out and filled the splines and it still does the same...
Thanks Tod . I can do the work myself. I've been a mechanic for 25+ years now. I just would like to know if the bearing is available separate from the hub and if so does anybody know what the wheel bearing part number is. I'm pretty sure the bearing can come out of the hub by heating it up...
Does anybody know if you can just buy the rear hub wheel bearing instead of buying the whole hub assembly? For a 2003 expedition 2wd. Or does anybody happen to have an old rear hub that can get bearing number off of it for me. Thanks.
