    Extended warranty……?

2019, bought used in 2020 with 24K. Bought the longest Premium care at the time which was for 125,000 add'l miles. As many have echoed here, it's the little electronic things that CAN eat you alive. Mirrors, rear wipers, running board motors, ABS sensor, water pump...... It's the best...

    Battery Life PSA

I replace the battery every 3 years. So much wear on these. The battery tender does help.

My 4 year, 28k review on 2019 Expedition Max Limited

145000 on my ‘19 Platinum. Same experience. Best domestic truck I’ve owned. Plugs and all drive fluids every 60K. TSB T-stat a huge improvement when towing or driving like LeMans on the PA Turnpike. Hankooks were horrible. In my second set of Pirelli Scorpion 3s. Absolutely love the wet...

    What to do??

Whatever you buy, get the Ford Premium Plan extended warranty. Take it out as far as you can. Cheap insurance!

A year that DOESN'T have massive transmission issues?

Agree on T-stat. Second, who did the tranny? Is it a Ford reman tranny? Third. Be religious on the tranny and diff fluids every 60K. Let us know!

Rear brake pads and rotors junk at 25K miles.

I’d look at a better aftermarket rotor pad combo with better steel. I’ve run Power Stop heavy duty pads and rotors for years and get 100K of average driving out of them

Motorcraft vs. other wheel hub bearing assys

Thanks Jason, these were warrantee Motorcraft have assemblies and the warranty is good for two years so I’m just surprised as well that all four have been replaced each time about 60,000 miles It’s a stock expedition everything is factory and I do about 2000 miles of towing a year. Motorcraft vs. other wheel hub bearing assys

Good evening, In my experience, I’m getting about 60K out of my stock Motorcraft hub bearings before they need to be replaced. Is 60K good? Any “absolutely better for the money” hub assemblies out there? TIA, Bob

    Tires

Pirelli Scorpion AS3. Many in the 4th gen forums love them, myself included. 60K wear, quiet. Amazing wet traction.

Swollen lug nuts. Replace them NOW

Hello friends, I just realize this has been discussed before, but I had the unfortunate roadside flat, and it took an hour to get the six Lugnuts off because I thought the Ford supplied lug nut wrench with the jack was defective . It was not. Long story short all the fourth Jens come out of...
