Question, has anyone blacked out the chrome trim that runs underneath the windows all the way around on the stealth edition? I have a Max that’s been built waiting on shipment. I’m wondering if the 25’ roll off of Amazon will work, or if I need the 50’ roll.
I agree with everything you said. Although when my GM talked to the person who oversees all the plants in the US, they are not on chip hold. There are over 7000 expeditions waiting on wiper motors, that someone else posted are made right there in Kentucky. I think Ford is using the “chip hold”...
Just got my email from Ford saying mine was finally been “built”. Been stuck in “chip hold” waiting on a wiper motor since 3/24. I hope everyone else has got or gets theirs too.
I just drove one of those at work, it was very very nice inside. But it definitely has less room in the back behind the third row. If Kia made one bigger, closer to the Expedition Max, I would be gone.
I agree. I would assume, these will have somewhere around 100 miles on them, when I have seen people buying them with 3 or 4 miles on theirs. They also wouldn't have to worry about battery issues or flat spots on the tires. I am sure when they eventually get to them, Ford will do a "quality"...
Info I got is they are not even planning on touching all of those until the end of June at the earliest. Mine was put offsite just a few days after yours. They don’t want to shut down the line because then that would cut shifts from people. So those of us who are offsite are probably stuck until...
My info says it probably won't change until the end of June at the earliest. They don't want to shut down the line to complete the ones offsite. Complete BS, but Ford doesn't care.
Yes, I agree. I told the GM that transparency is key. I now know I won't be reaching out for probably a month to see an update. They are swearing they are going to make it up to me with the price of the new truck and my trade in. When ever it comes in, if that's not the case, I will walk. I was...
It will update every week with a new date. Just so you and others on chip hold are aware, my GM at the Dealership called in a favor to inquire about mine. Confirmed it is on a Wiper Motor hold (Not a chip hold) along with 7000 other expeditions. They have them spread throughout 8 different lots...
Right, and don't forget, those of use that ordered vehicles first, got a lower prices then the vehicles being produced now. All these people that are canceling their orders, is what Ford wants. Because then when they get on the lots eventually, the can charge the higher price for them. They are...
That's because they are still producing vehicles on the line, and producing those completely and shipping them out. They are just leaving the ones in the offsite lots so they can keep saying they are shortages. Why would you keep producing more, if you have ones sitting offsite for months at a...
