What did you do to the expy today
Spent about 6 hours changing the water pump. I figured it would be good maintenance after reading about bad corrosion and cooling system problems in these. Took it all apart to where i could access the fan clutch, struggled to remove the fan clutch, put it all together again, drove to aoto...- danger

Ha. The pcm in these is supposed to learn your driving style and shift accordingly. I guess we've been doing it bassackwards.- danger

Awesome. Thanks for the reply. I re-read your thread and ordered the transgo kit. Hopefully it'll make it through the week until the kit gets here. Do people drive with this problem for a while?- danger

Kick into 2nd gear at 20 mph
I've searched the forums and learned a lot about this problem. My expy hard shifts into 2nd gear, not loud, but noticeable. I know that there are spring kits that are supposed to remedy this problem, but have any of you put miles on after installing the new springs? Did the problem get resolved...- danger
