The shop ended up being a non-commitment type. Although they did a great job. Just careless. Year is 1998. Just read my post. Sorry I didn't mean to sound rude. Thanks for the help.- dbrat

Misfire on Cyl. 1 P0301
every time I have had this problem it was the coil pack only which caused the problem. make sure to add conductive grease recommended by the auto parts. It seems the coil packs don't do well with any kind of water contact. 300 is a general code for miss fire. 301 is cylinder #1. Good Luck...- dbrat

I have been searching for the original 5.4 engine shroud cover. I took my expedition into the shop back in 2005 and the space cadets at the shop lost the cover. :( Anyone know where I can locate one. Fuel Injectors
I replaced it a couple of years ago when I replace my in-tank fuel pump(which was toast). It was a smokin hot day in and I was pulling a heavy grade just this side of Death Valley, Temp was a toasty 112 degrees.
