    you can tap into the direction/temp power..this should be a switch power, but becareful some radar detector do not run directly off of 12v (14.5v engine running). the plug that comes with the radar is also a voltage step down. try google "hardwire for radar detector".     switched power for CB install

    Use a "fuse tap" and go directly from the fuse panel. pick a section that you know that is switched such as radio (look at the diagram that is on the cover). that way you get the amp you need, and you know you won't compromise other electronics.

    Nav. System

    Since its a new DVD map.. go through the nav menus again...there might be something you are missing (reset the dvd rom to read the new maps). I'm assuming that this is an OEM unit. you may need to change the regions (ie US1 for NW region, US2 for SW region, ect.) Sorry I'm just tossing things...

    you can reset the timer, by holding on to the "reset" bottom next to the setup botton-then the info display will promp you the next steps. Just scrow through the settings and select what you want. Good luck.

    has long has you get the universal IR headphone...and there should not be a problem using more than 2 at a time, unless there is an obstruction blocking the line of site for the IR to transmit the audio.

    stock speakers...we all know they don't live up to the sound..only way to find out is to take it out and look for any markings. I don't think they have a spec sheet. Notice that you are from 97070. Me too.

    2003 Expedition Rear DVD issues/fix

    This might help. What is you need to do is loop the dvd audio to the IR headphone. Make a loop or us a jump wire to each Left +, - and Right +,-. the OEM dvd is sending audio out to the OEM head unit and then back up to the IR headphone. look at the chart and make your corresponding links...
