Squeak when shifting at high acceleration
I have definitely experienced the same thing in my '03 EB. Only happens when Im really giving it the beans. Does have high K so shifts are a bit hard at high RPM which is when it squeaks, but so far no issues at all. I haven't done the hub yet but I have a strong feeling that this is probably the case for me. Regarding the link to provided to the axle kit, is that the correct one with the bag of grease? Just a little update. Jacked up the truck again last night to check the drive shaft input into the diff for play. How long will my expedition last?
Almost EXACTLY my situation! I picked up a 2003 EB with 190k miles for $2000 a few weeks ago. Hey guys, figured Id just start a new thread seen as how all the others I have read don't really fit my issue. Ok so small update, I went out and got greasy on my coffee break and followed the steps above from the other post... I pulled the valve out of the valve cover and held my finger over the tip. Nothing. No suction. Then I pulled the hose off the top of the valve and TONS of suction...- dvandoormaal

Thanks a lot! That sounds like a good approach. The truck has 306,000km on it now so I think I might just opt to replace the valve if not the whole thing, as I have a 2000km roadie to go on over Christmas.
