98 expy driver seat
I have 98 as well, had exact same problem as yours... big problem is dealer could not tell which one of 2 different power seat/track mechanisms I had without removing it from vehicle. He could not tell from the VIN number either. Evidently, they desigend an "improved" seat mechanism for 98...- Gevans17

Shift indicator on wrong letter.
Shift indicator is controled by an adjustable cable under the dash. Try adjusting it first. If it cannot be adjusted enough (like mine) I was able to get it to point to the correct gear by using a plastic cable tie to lasso the indicator cable, thereby taking up the slack in it. Has worked fine...- Gevans17
