Yes I did check fuse #40 it is good. I checked it in place with a test light and I removed it to check it with a multi-meter it checks good. But I still have no backup lights/sensors or daytime lights. Now fuse #14 does not blow and the back up lights don't work that is why I was concerned that...- hogboy

well I have some more time to test items. I have found that the trailer wiring is now repaired, inserted a new fuse in slot #14 no longer does it blow but there is no reverse lights or daytime running lights. Now what?? I have tried different things but I have not had much time this week due to the frigid below zeros up here. My wife noticed that the daytime running lights do not work anymore. I tried a new fuse tonight with the heater shut off and headlight switch at the off and not the automatic setting drove it about a mile backed up into my yard and it all works so far. I will do more testing of all this as the week goes on. Thank You so much for your help thus far.- hogboy

ok thank you, How does one test the digital transmission range sensor and where do I find it? The other thing I was told was the reason that fuse #14 blows is the fuse panel is now faulty and will always need replacing when this takes place consistently. I thought that this was a little crazy- hogboy

help, i have a 2006 Expedition which has decided to start and give me issues.
