    2017 Water Leaks

The carpet gets wet just behind the rear passenger doors. Water follows the path of least resistance and follows the headliner and travels down the C pillar. You may also notice that the seat belt there is also damp. You may also see rust in the well closest to the C pillar where the foot from...

    2017 Water Leaks

Bought mine used at 56k as is. My solution is to park it nose down.. haven't had any leaks since. I only ever had an issue when it was parked during rain and when the front end was higher than the rear end...... Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    Drivers turbo replacement...116,000 mile report.

Sadly my trans went out on my suburban and couldn't afford a Chevy this time:( I hope my savings now isn't gonna bite me in the end...... Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

To add my bit, my 5.3l v8 in my suburban got better gas mileage than my 3.5l EcoBoost expedition. Not sure what fuel savings you speak of. I drive both trucks the same way almost always loaded up with my family of 8. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

I just hope I can be as fortunate with my Expedition as I was with my 01 Suburban. They mostly brine here too. I think its getting more popular(maybe cheaper) than putting down salt. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    Drivers turbo replacement...116,000 mile report.

Sounds like you had bad luck with your 2000. At 195,000, my Suburban was all original with the exception of rotors and pads. Do you get more salt exposure in Kentucky than we do in a Virginia? Not that I towed a ton, but I was also sad that the Expedition tows 2,000 lbs less than my suburban...

    Drivers turbo replacement...116,000 mile report.

1st thing my mechanic told me when I told him I got an EcoBoost expedition is that the turbos usually last to 130,000 miles or so before they need to be rebuilt. I hope he's wrong, but so far he's been spot on with every other car/truck I've owned. My blower front blower motor went out around...

    Turbo leaking oil/bearing noise

It all was because you posted that your truck was trouble free......lol. "107,000 miles and zero problems" Mine has 62k and my front blower mower just went out, small beans compared to your fixes though......at least the blower motor I can do myself. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    Ford extended warranty???

Just checked for mine....$1600 for a 36,000 mile warranty:( Would only cover me to 96k. From what I've seen, I shouldn't need any of the warranty service items until over 100k.... Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

What did you do to the expy today

Expected a dead battery after a month? I've had cars/trucks/motorcycles sit for over 3 and start right up. I use Interstate batteries... Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
