    After I posted this I went to clean my TB and found both breather hoses disconnected! I dunno if this had anything to do with the code but I re-connected those, cleaned my MAF and IAT, and the light is still on but the truck runs a lot smoother. I passed emissions right before this code came on...

    The liquid did not have a smell. I used to have an old Cherokee and always the dreaded the infamous heater core leak. Are there coolant lines running near the driver side floorboard area? Yep, I do have a sunroof. Haven't opened it yet to check the drains but that'll be my next step.

    Did the check engine light come on? Take it to any local auto parts store and borrow their code reader. It plugs in under the driver side dash. Then post your codes here or search them on Google.

    Not sure where you live but that isn't the case where I live. $3k is on the high end for older, used Expeditions here but all of them are somewhere between $2-3k as long as they have a clean title and aren't beat up.
