You are not going to like this but the rear body harness is different if you have a center seat. You cannot just buy a harness you have to take out the whole rear harness. I am in the process of doing it now I bought a harness on eBay. You have to get the vin number and find out if it was built...
Unless you have the heavy duty towing package you are likely going to be over weight. The standard towing is only 6000 lbs. So be careful most car trailers are 2 5/16 balls on the hitch.
I have same overheating problems with steep grade towing at ambient temperature above 90F. I live in Arizona and all the Gen2 Ecoboost whether F150 or Expedition have same overheating problems. From all those I have talked with the fix is a combination of larger intercooler, added transmission...
If the water temperature is over 225 it displays over the gauge. The transmission temperature does the same thing and is available in the menu. The break in period was 1000 miles per the owners manual.
For those that are interested in increase radiator capacity. The 4th Gen Expeditions and 2015+ F150 share some Heavy Duty Radiator HL3Z-8005-B. So, bigger after market radiator for 2015+ F150 should bolt up to 4th Gen Expeditions. I am still reaching transmission cooler.

Also, wanted to clarify I didn't hold rpm at 3500rpms. I just did not let engine go over 3500rpms. I was not in...
I was using 91 octane as well. The transmission temperature hit 240 then coolant hit 240 and I turned off ac and pulled off left motor running for about ten minutes and temperature were down to 205 and I started again. I didn't push over about 3500 rpms the rest of the trip and it didn't go over...
I was over 50mph when it heated up. At slower speeds it is fine. I had the dealer check it and they said all systems are functioning as designed. I have found transmission coolers and oil coolers for F150 with 3.5, but not Expeditions. So, I think I will buy one and see if they fit. I was also...
I have a 2019 Expedition Max with the heavy duty towing option. I live in Arizona and have a 7500lbs trailer. I just purchased the Max it has 1100 miles on it with no problems. So, last weekend we used it to tow our trailer up to the mountains. I previously had 2013 Expedition and towed the same...
