As much as I loved my Expy I got rid of it a few weeks ago.. great daily driver I probably drove it everyday for over a year and a half. I was given something a bit newer and nicer. Resolved: Code P0174 (System too Lean Bank 2)
For whatever reason the previous owner (or his mechanic) cut the heat to the back... which didn't really bother me since I rarely have passengers. Truck has been running great lately... But I will need to replace a spark plug as I got a Cylinder 1 misfire detected (p0301) a few weeks ago...- jayarebee

No Check Engine Light/Codes after about 300'sh miles give or take since the new tiny little PCV valve was replaced! I forgot to mention I installed a new Air Filter (Premium $25 @ AZ) the same day. I installed a new PCV valve ($4 @ Autozone) Part #PCV1183DL. Cleared the code and it's been roughly 2 weeks (again) and about 200 miles give or take without the P0174 code has no come back. No when the AC compressor is completely off it will not make that loud whiney sound.. it will last a few moments after shutting it off and eventually go away. Regardless I don't like it and will keep it off until I further diagnose. Unfortunately I purchased this truck knowing it had a dinky...- jayarebee

1999 Expy 4.6L w/ Possible Bad AC Compressor?
Got this truck early Spring and had no issues whatsoever. AC/Heat worked 100% when I test drove and for the first few weeks, now it was about 100F at the time super hot summer so I didn't get to test the Heat so much... but the AC blew hard, blew cold, it probably needed some Freon as it blew...- jayarebee

1999 Expedition Will Not Start When Hot. Codes are P0113 P1000 C1284.
P1000 just means the test is not complete (your car's ECC has not completed its emission systems test). Common with newly installed batteries and usually goes away after you drive for a bit (25+ miles/1-2 cycles). Engine knocking/clacking under load.
My 2000 Tahoe keeps getting a code for Knock Sensors, we are going to try and by-pass for inspection with a kit/part... Rear Fender Flares for 1st Gen 99 XLT 4.6L
And they are on! Before I did anything I hit the rusty spots with some Rust Neutralizer from the auto part store and after 24hrs the rust was gone, the metal turned black, and the stuff works good. I wouldn't go as far as trying to drill a hole or placing a clamp but it felt and looked nice... -
