    Torque Converter Shudder at 35-45mph

    I feel like I got lucky on this issue... I replaced all of the coil packs, had the cash and didn't want to troubleshoot at the time, and the shudder was gone.

    I won't argue with you on the performance... The info I posted above is straight from the fueleconomy.gov website. If you read down to the pros and cons they say exactly what you say about performance, they just gloss over that the lower energy only correlates to lower gas mileage.

    167K miles and no leaks. Had a leak a little over a year ago and had the pinion seal replaced. It's run fine up until now. The whine starts around 30mph and increases steadily to about 50mph and remains constant.

    Rear Diff Whine

    While accelerating it sounds like my rear diff is whining and the noise increases as I accelerate. Anyone had any experience with this? Just started yesterday and I really started to notice it today. From what I've read it sounds like it could be the rear pinion bearings. Thoughts?

    I swapped out for the Power Stop K4683 upgrade kit. I have been doing a little towing and wanted to put a better rotor and pad on it. Haven't been disappointed at all. Just gotta make sure you follow the break in procedures to the letter.

    I forgot to reply to this... A year late never hurt, I guess. It was the driver's side hub that was bad. I changed both sides and installed upgraded rotors and pads. 150K and she's running strong.
