Leaking fuel tank sending unit
The tank is already dropped. That's how I know it's the seal around the sending unit that's leaking. It won't let me upload any photos. That's what I was thinking. Just wanted to get a 2nd opinion for a new sending unit. I saw the spectra ones on amazon for under 200 bucks. Pretty good reviews...- Mkt1

Leaking fuel tank sending unit
Hello again. 2007 Lincoln Navigator 160k. Noticed small spots of gas on the ground and of course the smell. Found out it is a leaking sending unit from the gas tank. The only problem I have is it does sometimes have hard starting. Like it takes more then a few seconds to start her up. My...- Mkt1

Different Tapping noise
Come to find out the vehicle is overheating now while in idle. going to replace damn near the entire cooling system and see what happens. That noise was definitely coming from the engine. Yes flexpedtion I do have rear assist suspension. I'll play with that today. Bobmbx it didn't sound like the AC compressor click but I'll check that 2.- Mkt1

Roaring clutch fan when cold?
Barjrob you explain it exactly right. We bought the vehicle brand new and I don't ever recall ever being that loud. Wondering being an aftermarket part would it be different from oem. where to add tranny fluid w/o the dipstick nut
Hello, I have a 2007 Lincoln navigator. I just did the transmission filter service and now I need to add the fluid. sorry I don't know what type of transmission I have but it doesn't have that 5" dip stick on the passenger side. Where do I add the fluid? Please help.- Mkt1
