Are you willing to share how much you paid? Apparently you have to contact an installer for a quote; don't want to sign myself up for all the spam until I'm actually to the point where I might be interested in doing it. :)
So the 2009 EL is now here, properly licensed and insured, and got its first inspection at the mechanic yesterday. Looks pretty good mechanically -- it needs one ball joint badly (no surprise here, probably original), needs the fluids done (again, not a surprise), and tires and brakes aren't too...
Yup! I'd like the updated instrument cluster and center stack if at all possible, which is why I'm looking to see if it's possible. From what I'm seeing so far, it doesn't look like that big of a price difference to purchase a wrecked Limited '14 versus a wrecked XLT '15, so figure the newer...
Yeah, that's my primary concern. I was hoping that the communications between the dash and the engine would be "generic", but really have no clue. :)
