While my mother's side of the family has leaned towards Mopar and my father's side has no particular allegiance, I have respect for Ford, especially their trucks. FCA hasn't come out with a Ramcharger for almost 20 years, plus they just aren't what they used to be.
I hope that our recently purchased (8/2020) 2011 EL will serve us well for trips, especially seeking a glimpse of the wild horses around the 4x4 beaches north of Corolla at the Outer Banks.
The license plate on the TDI Wagon reads, "MORE MPG" (Shout out to the wonderful TDIclub forums!). I got 40+ MPG on 25 gallon tank for a range of about 1,000 miles. The LEAF gets zero, but then again, there is no place to put the gas. The Expedition EL, not so much! Hoping to get to 20 MPG.
