I am the original owner.. The parts guy at Al Packer Ford in West Palm Beach said that the pump with the small hose is shown in the "back order" column but found a store that may have one in stock... Thank you for the information. I suspected that was the case, but needed to hear from someone who had actually installed a current PFS453. The "Chat" person at FordParts.com wrote that the full part number for the PFS453 was 2L1Z-9H307-BG. That OEM number shows up in several replacement pumps...- patlandy

Fuel Pump Question....
2003 XLT 5.4 FX4 Expedition. 10 years ago I replaced the fuel pump with Ford PFS453. It has a special "smaller" hose and fittings on one of the lines. The pump is bad again, and I have been told by ford I have to use the same number pump. The PFS453 pumps are all in the $400 dollar range but the...- patlandy
