While I agree with everyone else that plugging it is not the best or safest option. I will say that when I was younger (and VERY broke), I plugged my own tires for years with a plug kit from an auto parts store. I plugged them on the flat bottom, in the middle of the sidewalls, and in the...
I had this happening too. There’s a feature called auto-hold that will do this on level surfaces as well. I don’t remember if it did all the time or only when shifting from Park to Drive, but it was annoying either way. There’s a setting in the menus to turn it off.
That’s why I ordered my 2022 SPP w/ the 12” screen, so I’d have physical buttons for my radio and air conditioner. I’m fine with the touch screen for some things. But, I just want to turn the A/C fan speed or temperature up or down with a simple turn of a knob.
Just because they CAN do...
As far as I know, the “captain’s chairs” in the second row are literally the EXACT same chairs as the bench. The only difference for the “bench” seat is that the factory doesn’t add the inside armrests to the chairs and they bolt in a center seat. I ordered mine with the bench and it even still...
I had a random chime occasionally while driving and couldn't figure out what it was. My wife ultimately pointed out that it happened every time we entered a school zone. The school zones are all over when I drive through them, so I never put the chime together with the school zone. But the truck...
That’s actually a pretty good idea. The 3M Hurricane window tint is great, I had it on my Mustang years ago. It’s very thick and basically makes the windows shatterproof, so they won’t “explode” when they break, like normal windows. The window glass will still break if you hit it with the...
I found this thread a year ago when I bought my '22; when no one knew of any really good solutions, I searched the web trying to find something, but found nothing. I am truly amazed that no one has made a good, secure aftermarket rear cover for the Expy. I'm guessing part of the problem is that...
I agree with other posts saying you’ll likely get a skewed “polling” result here. Because if you’re here at all, you either have a problem, are looking for accessory ideas / suggestions, are waiting for your ordered Expy, you’re an Expedition fanatic, or you have a very boring life and this...
But there are 3rd party aftermarket devices that allow you to completely mirror your device to your vehicle’s screen, like The Magic Box 2.0. It allows you to literally stream Netflix or anything you want to your built-in screen, even when the car is in motion.
Of course, keep in mind that...
LOL, the only thing I see through all those numbers is my root argument, higher octane equals more power, at least in this particular vehicle. I’ve seen that test result before and used it to justify paying for the 93, and hopefully, with the 304A SPP, my numbers are even a little higher than...
That’s crazy, I wonder why? Is it all the gas stations or just some of them? I travel a lot, but I guess never noticed that because I’m usually in a rental car and use the cheap gas, of course LOL. You’d think with all the performance pickups and 4WD’s out west, there would be a lot of people...
Regarding the price of premium fuel… after spending $85,000 on the Expy, with $10,000 of that just being the 304A sport performance package in order to get the upgraded turbos and the 440 hp, it seems a little counterproductive to me to run the 87 octane, even to save $25 per tank. Especially...
