Real dyno results on modified 3 valve 5.4 V8?
I'm skeptical of claims of torque + horsepower gains on modern normally aspirated engines like the 5.4 V8 I have in my 2010 expedition. Say i'm willing to spend up to 1k on parts and up to 10 hours labor (i'm doing it myself but I don't want to spend more than a weekend dealing w it)...- renjaminfranlkn

2011 Exp EL wont start P1000 P1707
I had a similar problem with an electronically controlled transmission in a 2001 Grand Cherokee. I had to drop the pan, pull the valve body off and replace a solenoid/module on it. Muffler Replacement
Anyone else used this muffler? Does it have a little better sound than stock? OP have a video by any chance? My stock system has a slight, annoying resonance right at 1800 RPM or so that I don't like. I don't want a performance muffler thats louder, but i'd like something that sounds better...- renjaminfranlkn

Yeah it looks like the dealer took it off to change the oil and never replaced it. At least I know what the noise is now. I was getting worried what I thought was wind noise might be the beginning of a bearing growl- renjaminfranlkn

Front bumper air deflector on 2010?
Am I missing a fairing or air deflector here? Driving at speeds over 50, I thought I noticed a very slight wind noise coming from an odd place... under the vehicle. It looks like a fairing is missing from this location... anyone know what it’s called or where to find one?- renjaminfranlkn

Crutchfield did have a nice article on speaker replacement. I just bought some JBL GTO860C component 6x8 speakers on ebay for $265 shipped. I recently put a 6.5" JBL component kit in my old IDI F-250. I think I will like the 6x8's. Crutchfield has them for $380. I like crutchfield but always...- renjaminfranlkn
