Trim panel paint code
Since most of the Gen 1 EB EXP had that color of trim, you should have no trouble finding a piece that does not need painting. and yes, it is attached with double-sided trim tape.- Saxxist

Difficulty of switching from rear air suspension to regular shock 01 Eddie Bauer 5.4L V8?
I have had to replace the air compressor controller for the air-ride shocks at least half a dozen times on my 99 EB Exp with 187k miles that I bought new. What I learned by trial and error is to AVOID parking the vehicle on an incline (hill or driveway) for an extended period. For some reason...- Saxxist

1999 Expedition 5.4L Triton - Help needed!
Since you have a 1999 Exp EB, you probably have the 4x4 air-ride shocks. Mine (with 190k miles) makes a similar sound when the air-ride is leveling the cabin.- Saxxist
