I just dealt with the same issue. I had two fuel injectors stuck open and one stuck close. The ones stuck open made me smell gas inside the truck through the vents when I had them blowing air out. They are under warranty till 110,000 miles. So if you have less than that it will cost you nothing.
I just had three worked on. I had two stuck open and one stuck closed. They are under warranty until 110,000 miles. The local dealership fixed mine. I have had no issues from these injectors as of yet.
P0307 code after K&N CAI install.
Yea I had the spark plugs and coil packs all replaced the first week in April. I am going to change the spark plug to see if that clears it up. It's probably just a coincidence that when I installed the CAI that a new plug went bad.
P0307 code after K&N CAI install.
That was my first move. I changed coil packs around to see if it would throw the code in a different location and it didn't. It still says cylinder 7.
Has anybody thrown the P0307 code after installing a CAI. The code is cylinder 7 misfire detected which causes a decrease power state on my engine will driving when it comes in.
1997,
No fenderflares or mud guards in my future for now. Oh and for the guest if you can't get in then that means peace and quiet for me. I don't make the changes to my truck for them, lol.
toms89,
It's not that bad. I actually used mine al the time as well since they were there but now I just have to do a little push off the ground to get in.
