Has anybody thrown the P0307 code after installing a CAI. The code is cylinder 7 misfire detected which causes a decrease power state on my engine will driving when it comes in.

check the plug and coil on hole 7 maybe you unplugged it or it just happend at the same time, stranger things have happend

That was my first move. I changed coil packs around to see if it would throw the code in a different location and it didn't. It still says cylinder 7.

Yea I had the spark plugs and coil packs all replaced the first week in April. I am going to change the spark plug to see if that clears it up. It's probably just a coincidence that when I installed the CAI that a new plug went bad.

Yeah the CAI would have no effect on the plugs unless you somehow got some liquid in the intake while changing it. Could foul a plug that way but it is highly unlikely in my opinion.

Not necessarily unlikely
One of the reasons I dislike K&N; the strong possibility of over-oiling the filter and the engine ingesting the extra oil and fouling plugs and coating MAF and other sensors with the stuff...

That's great to hear sceb, you obviously know what you are doing and have had really good success.
Unfortunately, I have read many a tale on other boards where others have not been nearly as successful as you have.
Mind you, I am not saying it will happen, just that I've been around long enough to know that it can and does happen to some people.
