I have a 2000 XLT with the 5.4 that I picked up in 2006 with 52,000 miles on the clock and absolutely love the big beast, but she is getting old and will need to be replaced soon.     Rear Hatch seems to be ajar. What needs cleaned?

    Slamming the door glass didn't work with mine, just for giggles I pushed the plunger down with a small screwdriver and the lights went out.

    I had the same problem with mine. Replaced the switch and the lights stayed on until the hatch was opened. It currently is unplugged.
