    Tranny rebuild cost.

    i just had the trans rebuilt it was $2800 Canadian. torque converter $350 master overhaul kit $585 band $130 labour like $1500 :mad: plus oil and filter like $100 btw this was for a 2005

    when you try to close them or open they get stuck half way i guess some one pushed them backwards or something. so can i just open them and get a new gear if it is striped or do i need the whole mirror ? and if i do where do i get it from ?

    can a clogged cat cause a misfire ? and whats a good replacement do i need to get two if one is bad so they are the same ? i have the same thing going on with a 2005 5.4 for my misfire on cylinder 3 the coil and spark plug was changed twice and i still get the misfire so it cant be the coil...

    yes it blinked then stayed on and went off after the car restarted but would still did not move so my question is is there some kind of fail safe that won't let the trans shift with that message on. or if the fluid is dirty it wont let it? also the check engine is still for the misfire thats...

    i don't think they did now that all this is going on they said no codes on just that the trans is running a little hot. i think its time for a new garage does this sound like a broken transmission.
