Power Folding Mirrors Malfunctioning

when you try to close them or open they get stuck half way i guess some one pushed them backwards or something. so can i just open them and get a new gear if it is striped or do i need the whole mirror ? and if i do where do i get it from ?

Are they factory power folding mirrors or did you do the add-on modification

For the 03-06 the service manual mention to try to open and close 6-7 times. it may or may not work so what I did was force it to close or open then try the open/close switch several times.
