    Parking Brake Pedal stuck

    Hello guys long time, my 2001 Expedition the parking Brake Pedal get stuck I pull the release handle and with other hand I have to pull the pedal up, is there a return spring I should look if broken? Should I remove the pedal out of the SUV for fixing or rebuilding? Thanks in advance TP

    Thanks, this is what I did, I spliced into the cables a light (probe) and moved around the wires, started banging the gas tank fuel pump was erratically on and of but the probe light, the light was always ON, due to the millage the Expedition has and nothing has being fixed since 2000 I am sure...

    Thanks, I did that all quite, I just wanted to know if the G.E.M. module could be giving me a problem activating the Fuel Pump since this module always get wet after heavy rains.....................Yesterday I turned the key to ON and hit the gas tank with rubber hammer and fuel pump started...

    I couldn't do anything because it had being working fine, but today it rain and after the rain stopped the expedition began starting on it's own, had to disconnect bat, after a few hours I connected the bat and it began again starter just wont stopped.

    Not sure if that is happening but I'll check, also I was today looking under the dash right at the fuse box and with the ignition key ON there is a sound like a short circuit, no burning smell but the sound, like squeezing aluminum foil...............right behind the fuse box its a black box...
