shifter help.
yea shifter works when the line is not connected to trans. soon as its put back on doesnt move at all. i think your right. if tow truck driver slammed it hard enough to break inner and outer shifter tube the solenoid probably got damaged to- williamb

shifter help.
99 expo 4wd with 5.4l. had shifting issue for years where i would need to slam shifter over to get it in park. assumed loose bolts or stretched cable. few weeks back lost engine belt and tow truck driver slammed shifter over so hard it broke shift tube. i took apart dash and have replaced shift...- williamb
