Anyone have an idea why the distance on the nav and the right dash screen don’t match?

Your Sync display has a precision of "miles", while the MFD has a precision of "tenths of a mile". Your Sync display could actually have a value of 58.9999999999 miles, but only displays "58".

Can't speak to the total trip distance displayed. It could have something to do with a Drunk Girl driving at 75MPH at 8:30 in the morning.

so today we took a 72 mile trip. used nav and had the instrument panel selected to nav
both read the same mileage, but when the mileage changed on the nav screen in the center stack, the display on the instrument panel changed, but it did have a noticeable lag by maybe a blink of eye , but it was noticable.

To start with, The "drunk girl" is my daughter. We were in a 65 zone and the speedometer is off by 2 MPH at that speed. We were at 72 per the Garmin GPS.

Maybe it is combined rounding errors on long trips. This was 500+ mile trip to Virginia.

Using the Dash Commander and FORScan apps I can look at the VSS signals. They match the GPS. The speedometer reads 2 mph high at 60+ mph. It goes back to 0 when stopped.
