Hello team, I recently acquired a 1999 Expedition Eddie Bauer edition, and I'm here to see what I can do to keep the Expy on the road. I've spend several years rebuilding and restoring a 1995 Saturn SC2 Coupe, so I'm not exactly new to vehicles, but the Expedition is a different beast in my experience. There are twice as many cylinders, more hoses and wires sticking out of the engine, and a more complicated suspension to work on.

I'll ask for advice when appropriate, and contribute when I can. For now I'm mostly sticking to the 1st Gen forums which include the 1999 Expy.

Welcome!
Don't let all of the extra things you are not used to scare you. They are great vehicles and capable of many, many miles of use. This is a great forum and you can also look into F150online.com for answers as they share many many parts.

As you need parts, the local pick n pull will always have a wide selection of both for the hardto find or OEM parts of which I prefer.

Thanks Greya, I've found my way around and cleaned the throttle body last week. I'm not in an area where there is a pick and pull unfortunately, I really miss the u-pull yard after moving last year.
