I have a 2003 XLT, runs great and well maintained. Interior wise the leather (light parchment) front bucket seats are shot. I am thinking remove and rewrap both seats with new top and bottom leather seat covers.

Of course an opportunity came up where I can get both a driver and passenger from a 2005 EB seats (2 tone but don’t mind as I will cover them). Has anyone done such a swap and did you have to cut cabling and splice, not interested in heat/cool functions but the adjustments and airbag? How about the passenger seat as the EB is all electric and existing XLT is not.

Thanks in advance for your input.

I would get them, direct replacement fit. I will see if I can round up wiring differences. If you can get the wiring harnesses from EB, get them all the way to under main dash plug connections. Should be able to hook up from there but will probably be FUN!!
Or change your sliders from the 2003 seats.

Any replacement covers you get, purchase from US Seatcover in Texas. They are very well made, like original, and easy to replace. I bought from a cheaper source and had to screw everything to seat frame & took hours. These slip on easier like the originals much quicker.
